Dear Parents,
Our Nursery School year is off to a wonderful start, filled with joy, curiosity and the promise of meaningful growth ahead!
The Challah in Your Cubby program is back! This wonderful Nursery School fundraiser kicks off Friday, September 26! Skip the store and enjoy fresh challah from Seasons delivered straight to your child's cubby every week. To help you decide which delicious challah to order, the PTA is hosting a special tasting this Friday morning during drop-off in the Beth El lobby — featuring both challah and babka! Not sure which to choose? Come taste for yourself! Click here to sign up and see full program details below.
Our Hot Lunch program begins the week of September 29. Children who eat lunch at school can enjoy hot meals three days a week. You can sign your child up to receive pizza on Mondays and/or Thursdays, and pasta on Wednesdays. Food is provided by Prime Time Cafe. Full program details may be found below. Click here to sign up.
We have an important message from our Nursery School PTA President, Kara Kalman(mom of Ethan - alum, Dylan - Gezah Bet, and Natalie - a future Beth El Nursery School student)
Dear Nursery School Parents,
It was so wonderful seeing so many of you at Back to School night! I wanted to take a moment to re-introduce myself. My name is Kara Kalman and I will be chairing the Beth El Nursery School PTA this year. I am so excited for this school year and the community we will build.
We have many wonderful events happening this year, but none of them are possible without volunteers to help plan and execute them. Below is a link to the Volunteer form. We strongly encourage everyone to find a committee to volunteer for and join. I promise that there are jobs, small and big, something for everyone regardless of how much time you have to offer.
The Nursery School PTA's official kick-off meeting will take place on Wednesday, Oct 22 at 8pm. It will be a great time to learn more about and brainstorm for each event and help create our goals for the year. During the meeting, we’ll provide everyone with an overview of the role of the PTA, explain the responsibilities of each committee and break up into small groups so that we can begin to get to work. Your participation is essential in order to guarantee successful programming in the school year ahead.
If you have any questions, please reach out to Ronnie, Shery or me.
Join us for a meaningful Challah Bake with Morah Eden, one of our Shoresh teachers, on Wednesday, September 17 at 7:30 pm. Learn how to make a round challah and a babka, just in time for Rosh Hashanah.Click here to register.
