LOOKING FOR A HOST FAMILY Westchester’s Shalom Yisrael has for over 20 years been bringing small groups of Israeli women for a 10 day visit as a way of thanking them for their volunteering efforts. This year’s group of 6 women, from the Haifa area, volunteer for Hora Ilan, working with people in wheelchairs to teach them dance of various styles and perform together. We are looking for a family to host one of these volunteers for September 7-17. Shalom Yisrael provides daily programming for the guests. Beth El families have hosted in the past. Interested in hosting? Please contact Marc Karell — mamaromarc@gmail.com or Alan Greenberg asgreenberg2@gmail.com for details.
