As a thank you to the New Rochelle Police Department for all of their hard work keeping our synagogue and the larger New Rochelle community safe,we wanted to show them some Beth El love with freshly baked challahs made by the sweetest kids around. Next week, with the challah dough that is usually used for each child to make their own roll, your children will be baking challahs for the police department instead. These special challahs will be hand delivered along with some yummy dips before Shabbat by Elliot Meiteles and Heather Mazursky-Horowitz.
