It was wonderful to welcome all of your children back to school yesterday! We have so much to share so PLEASE read this email in its entirety.
This Friday is Rosh Chodesh, when our Anaf and Gesher classes will celebrate the beginning of the new Jewish month of Adar. Adar is known for its joy and fun, and it's the month when we celebrate the festive holiday of Purim (March 14). Tradition teaches us: Mishenichnas Adar marbin b'simcha - When the month of Adar arrives, we increase our joy!.As we lead up to Purim, we will be enjoying a spirited week of themed days (details to come) which will culminate in the children and staff dressing up in costume for Purim on Friday, March 14.
Looking to the weekend ahead, Beth El is proud to present Shul Shenanigans 2!! This is a fun-filled entertaining show comprised of creative Broadway showtune parodies spoofing life at Beth El. You will see familiar faces from the Nursery School on stage, and many of the teachers will be in attendance, so we hope you will be too! There are two performances to choose from: Saturday, March 1 at 8PM and Sunday, March 2 at 2PM. We guarantee you will come away smiling.Click here to register.More details may be found below.
For our After Care families, the March staff meeting will be next Tuesday, March 4, so after care will be ending at 3:00PM that day.
Beginning Tuesday, March 4th, our Project SEED coordinator, Julie Schnur, will be leading a monthly virtual drop-in parent group to discuss questions and concerns related to navigating anxiety, transitions, change and anything in between. Wednesday, March 5 is Staff Professional Development Day, so school will be closed.The staff will be attending the Jewish Early Childhood Association (JECA) Conference.
