We are enjoying a fabulous first week of school!
Please find below a special message from our Board Co-Presidents, Andrea Fleishshaker and Kara Kalman:
Dear Parents,
We hope that your kids are settling into school and that the first week of school is off to a great start!
Our Nursery School Board Kick-Off Meeting is next Wednesday, September 18, at 8pm at Beth El! Whether or not you filled out the sign-up sheet, you are invited and encouraged to join. This meeting will be a great way to meet other BENS parents and an opportunity to hear about ways to get involved this year.
We hope you will all consider attending the meeting. We are truly fortunate to have such a phenomenal group of parents working together for the betterment of our Nursery School community! Being involved truly helps enhance your experience!
Before and After Care will begin on Monday, September 16. Before Care will meet in the Motor Room. Upon entry to the building, walk down the stairs and continue straight ahead. Make a right at the end and go down the stairs. The Motor Room is on the right. Morah Veronica and Morah Tina will meet you there. Children may be dropped off any time after 8:00am. For After Care, if your child is in our Shoresh class, please send in a nap mat, a dairy/parve nut free lunch, extra diapers and a change of clothing in a large baggie marked After Care, and extra snacks for the afternoon. For all other children, please remember to pack an extra afternoon snack separate from the lunch and morning snack, and a change of clothing in a bag marked After Care. Children must be picked up by 5:00. If the weather is nice, the children will be on Playground #1, otherwise they will be in Classroom #2 or The Motor Room.
Please note that the date for our Challah Baking event with Morah Eden has changed to Thursday, September 26. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to bake your very own challah that can be used for Rosh Hashanah, other holidays and shabbat.

Fall Family Fun Event at The Leffell School - Sunday, Sept. 22
