Dear Beth El Family:
I hope this email finds you well and that you are enjoying a wonderful summer. While many of us are still in full summer mode, the Beth El Clergy, professional staff and lay leaders are already preparing for the High Holidays, the Welcome Back Bash, Selichot and many other programs to usher in the new year.
This past year has been challenging for our community, with the rise in antisemitism and the ongoing war in Israel weighing heavily on our hearts and minds. The High Holidays offer us a unique opportunity to gather, to support one another, and to draw strength from our shared community and faith. Your presence at our High Holiday services will not only enrich our communal experience, but also strengthen the bonds that hold us together.
Similar to what Beth El offers every year for the High Holidays, we will have an array of options—including services in the main sanctuary and outside in the tent, as well as services designed specifically for families, tots, pre-teens and teens. The services in the main sanctuary will be livestreamed throughout the holidays. To select the services that your family would like to attend, please complete this online form by Friday, August 30th at 5:00 pm. All details about services are listed on the registration form and you can also find the information on services at bethelnr.org/highholidays.
But here are a few important points:
Ticket Information Please complete this form even if you plan to view the service on the livestream. Tickets will be physically mailed to your home address. The first batch of tickets will be mailed in early September.
Registration Reminders
If you paid for Enhanced Membership ($750 for family/$450 for single) you will be assigned reserved seats in the sanctuary for each member of your family up to age 22. If you did not purchase Enhanced Membership, each member of your family may sit in the open seating sections.
Family Membership entitles you to seats for two adults and Single Membership entitles you to a seat for one adult. All memberships include seats for your children up to age 22 to join you.
Additional seats for family members and guests can be purchased for $175 per person, per holiday (both days of Rosh Hashanah count as “one” holiday, as do Kol Nidre and Yom Kippur) and you can also purchase seats for both holidays. If you selected Enhanced Seating, your guests will be assigned seats with you.
