Helping the world, one paper flower at a time! Our campers today focused on the tikkun olam theme of Bikur Cholim (visiting the sick) by crafting beautiful paper flower bouquets to cheer up hospital patients. Their colorful creations will bring smiles and joy to so many. See a highlight reel of last week here.

LOOKING FOR HOST FAMILIES Westchester’s “Shalom Yisrael” has for over 20 years been bringing small groups of Israeli women for a 10 day visit as a way of thanking them for their front line volunteering efforts. This year’s group of 6 women is from Ashkelon not very far from Gaza; they work to help single moms and needy families. We are looking for families to host one guest each for September 15-25. Shalom Yisrael provides daily programming for the guests. Beth El families have hosted in the past. Interested in hosting? For details please contact Marc Karell atmamaromarc@gmail.com or Alan Greenberg at asgreenberg2@gmail.com.
