RUN FOR THEIR LIVES Westchester Run for Their Lives will meet at Kensico Dam Plaza on Sunday at 10:30am, rain or shine. Bring a friend, wear red, and wave flags, with pride, for the hostages, their families and friends, and for Am Yisrael. Release. Them. Now.
LOOKING FOR HOST FAMILIES Westchester’s “Shalom Yisrael” has for over 20 years been bringing small groups of Israeli women for a 10 day visit as a way of thanking them for their front line volunteering efforts. This year’s group of 6 women is from Ashkelon not very far from Gaza; they work to help single moms and needy families. We are looking for families to host one guest each for September 15-25. Shalom Yisrael provides daily programming for the guests. Beth El families have hosted in the past. Interested in hosting? For details please contact Marc Karell atmamaromarc@gmail.com or Alan Greenberg at asgreenberg2@gmail.com.
