Many of us may search for ways to integrate the current reality of a post October 7th world into our sedarim this year. How do we talk about the hostages and where in the seder is the best place to have that discussion? How do we address the current rise in antisemitism both here in the United States and around the world? How do we make space for all of the innocent lives lost these past 6 months, both Israeli and Palestinian, since Hamas' brutal attack on Israel?
If you are looking for resources to include in your Seder this year,
consider reading through the below supplement created
by the Shalom Hartman Institute. Also make sure to read the introduction
that was written by our very own Rabbi Jessica Fisher.
Please join us as we warmly welcome Rabbi Sirner and Lenore Sirner back to Beth El for this Shabbat. Rabbi Sirner will be leading services starting with Kabbalat Shabbat at 6:30 followed by Saturday Shabbat services. In person and Livestream.
