This Thursday, March 14, 4:30-8:30 pm Beth El Synagogue Center is thrilled to host over 30 talented Israeli artists and artisans, showcasing their crafts. Let's unite to strengthen the Israeli economy! We're proud to have the support of several local Westchester Synagogues in this endeavor. These dedicated vendors have traveled from Israel to share their unique creations with us, and they truly deserve our support. Join us in demonstrating solidarity and enjoying some delightful shopping. Snacks and sandwiches will be available for purchase, perfect for those coming straight from work. Bring your loved ones, your friends, and extend the invitation to your neighbors to join us in supporting these Israeli artists and their families. $5 per person

Tuesdays: 3/12, 3/19, 3/26, 4/2, 4/9 at 7:30 pm In Person & on Zoom A fundamental reality of being human is learning to grapple with our own mortality. No one escapes this world without encountering the death of friends and loved ones, nor are we immune from sickness. In this class we will explore rabbinic teachings that enrich the ways we think about the process of death and dying, as well as the rituals we've inherited that guide us through some of the most difficult moments in our lives.
Monday, March 18th, 9:30 am Please join us in the Beth El Den, where we will be discussing both An Unorthodox Match and An Observant Wife by Naomi Ragen. Dive into the neighborhoods of Boro Park and Brooklyn with Lola as she embarks on a journey from her secular life to pursue spirituality and meaning among the ultra- orthodox community. Fate intertwines her path with the dysfunctional home of newly-widowed Yaakov, a devout Torah Scholar, and his young family. The sequel follows the joy of Lola's wedding day to Yaakov and delves into the complex reality of their new lives together.
Also available on Zoom for those who cannot attend in person. Join online here.
