Hi everyone,

We have TONS of events in the next few weeks, both about Purim and beyond! We hope you can join us for many of them! Mark your calendars and get excited!

March highlights:

• Thursday, March 7: Get Your Mahj-on(gg) at 6:30 pm. Register here.
• Friday, March 8: 5th grade family Shabbat dinner at 6:30 pm. 
  
• Saturday, March 9: Shul Shenanigans at 8 pm. Register here.
• Thursday, March 14: Shuk to the Core (Israeli Shuk) from 4:30-8:30 pm.  Register here.
  
• Sunday, March 17: Purim Carnival (opens at 10:30 am for quiet/tots; 11 am-1 pm general admission). Register here to attend.  Register here to volunteer!
  
• Sunday, March 24: Purim!!!
  
  • ​​​​​Full Megillah Reading at 8:15 am
    
  • Community Purim Seudah (brunch) at 10 am. Register here.

Get Your Mahj-on(gg)! 
Thursday, March 7 at 7:30 pm

Get Your Mahj-on(gg) on with us! Join in the fun with an intergenerational group for a Mah-Jongg Jamboree. Meet new friends, enjoy mahjitas, and great snacks while we play and learn Mah-Jongg together.

Shul Shenanigans
Saturday, March 9 at 8 pm

Join us for Shul Shenanigans – an uproarious variety show featuring hilarious song parodies about Beth El, performed by our talented members and staff. Don't miss out on the laughter and camaraderie! This show will be fun for anyone involved at Beth El!

Cost: $25 per person

Shuk to the Core (Israeli Shuk)
Thursday, March 14 from 4:30-8:30 pm

Beth El is proud to host over 30 Israeli artists and artisans selling their wares. Please bring friends and neighbors to support these Israeli artists and their families. This is a great way to show support for Israel!

Purim Carnival!
Sunday, March 17 at 10:30 am (quiet time & Tots); 11 am general admission

Join us for our annual Purim Carnival! This big event is a blast every year, and we can't wait to see you there! Activities include bounce house, (child-safe) axe throwing, face painting, numerous carnival games, carnival refreshments and more!

Cost: $15 per child

The carnival is only possible with support from tween, teen and adult volunteers. If you're able to help out on Saturday night or Sunday (March 16/17), please sign up here!

Mini Megillah (& Costume Parade!)
Sunday, March 24 at 11 am (after the Purim Seudah)
geared towards families with young children

Come join us for a Tot-sized Megillah Reading! Our youngest members will get to hear the megillah, boo Haman and cheer for Esther and Mordechai, and share their costumes with the community! 

Big(ger) kids and adults are invited to join the community for our communal Megillah Reading during Shacharit at 8:15 am.
