Hi everyone,
In case you didn't see them last week, check out what we've been learning in Religious School! Click here for our updates!
In addition to sharing our learning, we have so many events around Purim! We start with Shul Shenanigans on Saturday night (March 9), which is an uproarious variety show featuring hilarious song parodies about Beth El, performed by our talented members and staff. We then move on to our Purim Carnival on March 17, and then Purim itself is the following week. See below for our calendar—more details later in the email.
Friday, March 8: 5th grade family Shabbat dinner at 6:30 pm.
Saturday, March 9: Shul Shenanigans at 8 pm.Register here.
Sunday, March 10: Regular RS & Moadon
Thursday, March 14: Regular RS (dismissal plan TBD)
Shuk to the Core (Israeli Shuk) from 4:30-8:30 pm.Register here.
Sunday, March 17: Regular RS until 11 am; no Moadon; PURIM CARNIVAL. Register here.
Thursday, March 21: Regular RS
Sunday, March 24: NO RS (Spring Break); Purim!!!
Full Megillah Reading at 8:15 am

Get Your Mahj-on(gg)! Thursday, March 7 at 7:30 pm
Get Your Mahj-on(gg) on with us! Join in the fun with an intergenerational group for a Mah-Jongg Jamboree. Meet new friends, enjoy mahjitas, and great snacks while we play and learn Mah-Jongg together.
Join us for Shul Shenanigans – an uproarious variety show featuring hilarious song parodies about Beth El, performed by our talented members and staff. Don't miss out on the laughter and camaraderie! This show will be fun for anyone involved at Beth El!
Shuk to the Core (Israeli Shuk) Thursday, March 14 from 4:30-8:30 pm
Beth El is proud to host over 30 Israeli artists and artisans selling their wares. Please bring friends and neighbors to support these Israeli artists and their families. This is a great way to show support for Israel, and you can even shop during Religious School!
We may need to adjust the dismissal line at 6 pm. We'll let you know as we get closer.
The carnival is only possible with support from tween, teen and adult volunteers. If you're able to help out on Saturday night or Sunday (March 16/17), please sign up here!
Mini Megillah (& Costume Parade!) Sunday, March 24at 11 am (after the Purim Seudah) geared towards families with young children
Come join us for a Tot-sized Megillah Reading! Our youngest members will get to hear the megillah, boo Haman and cheer for Esther and Mordechai, and share their costumes with the community!
Big(ger) kids and adults are invited to join the community for our communal Megillah Reading during Shacharit at 8:15 am.
