Happy March! It has been wonderful to welcome your children back to school this week! As we look to the month ahead, we want to be sure to point out some important upcoming dates:
1. On Saturday, March 9th at 8PM, fellow Beth El Nursery School parents Kara Kalman (Anaf Aleph and Toddler Time), Elliot Meiteles (Shoresh Aleph), Avi Stein (Gezah Bet) and Janine Chinitz (Anaf Aleph and Shoresh Aleph), along with Ronnie and Shery will participate in a fun-filled evening of song parodies and spoofs about life at Beth El. You will not want to miss Shul Shenanigans! Register here.
2. Important for our After Care Families - The March Staff meeting previously scheduled for Tuesday, March 5 will now be on Wednesday, March 6. As a result, Tuesday will be a regular day of After Care, but After Care will end at 2:30PM on Wednesday, March 6. Please mark your calendars accordingly and we apologize for any inconvenience.
3. Friday, March 8is the last 1:30PM dismissal for our full day classes. Normal dismissal time resumes on Friday, March 15.
4. It's time for your children to bring their smiles on Wednesday, March 13 for our Nursery School Picture Day.
5. On Wednesday,March 14, from 4:30 - 8:30PM, Beth El is sponsoring Shuk to the Core, an Israel vendor fair featuring over 30 Israeli artists and artisans selling their wares. Enjoy a beautiful selection of art, jewelry, Judaica, kippot, crafts, literature and more. Register here.
6. Our Hamentashen Bake with Morah Eden and Morah Shoshy will now take place on Tuesday, March 19, from 7:15 - 9:00PM, a change from the original date on the calendar. Learn some spritual aspects about Purim from Morah Eden, and fabulous baking tips from Morah Shoshy, a truly gifted baker, while making your very own delicious hamentashen Register here.
7. Our Spring Parent-Teacher Dialogues will be on Wednesday, March 20. School will dismiss at noon for our Gezah and Anaf classes. There will not be any after care or hot lunch delivery on that day. Please make note in your calendar. Teachers will be in touch with you to schedule your dialogue time.
