Shalom Beth El Day Camp Families!
We hope this letter finds you well and filled with warm memories of the fantastic summer we spent together at Beth El Day Camp! As we reflect on the joy shared by our campers, we are excited to announce—The Playground Project, an initiative that will enhance our children’s camp experience for many years to come.
Our beloved playgrounds, the heart of so many childhood adventures, are in need of a transformation. We envision revitalized spaces (click hereto see the plans) that will foster even more fun, creativity and adventure.
To bring this vision to life, we are turning to you, the incredible community of Beth El Day Camp for support. We believe that, together, we can create enhanced outdoor spaces that not only meet the highest safety standards but also spark the imagination of every child who steps onto them.
Here is how you can contribute:
Any amount, large or small will make a significant impact!
Naming opportunities - we have exciting naming opportunities where you may donate, dedicate or name a piece of equipment on one or more of our new playgrounds starting at $1800. You will also have your name or dedication displayed outside the playground.
Nameplate opportunities - for the honor of pledging $360, your name will be displayed on a nameplate outside the playground.
As you may know, our beloved Camp Director Julie Rockowitz recently retired and we honored her at our Simchat Torah celebration. Serving as the Director of Beth El Day Camp since 1994, Julie Rockowitz has been a tireless leader in our community. She loves camp and has treasured her summers spent with all of your children. As a token of appreciation for her tireless work and support, we thought it would be a meaningful gift to honor her with a dedicated element where our kids will play for many years to come.
We believe that these revitalized playgrounds will be a source of joy for both current campers and future generations to experience the magic of Beth El Day Camp.
