It is imperative that these emails are read weekly as there will be integral details that you will not want to miss. Additionally, you will be privy to moments in your child’s school day through a Daily Reflection that will be sent out by your child's teachers.

This staggered schedule, entitled Beginning Days, will be given to you by your child’s teachers.
During the week of August 26 and thereafter, our teachers will be engaged in Staff Development meetings and classroom set-up. In addition, in order to facilitate an easy adjustment to school, the Nursery School staff will start the school year with home visits. Your child’s teacher will phone you at the end of August to schedule a mutually convenient time to visit. We will attempt to accommodate your work schedules to the best of our ability and ask for your flexibility in this process. Communication with our parent body is essential. Parents often wonder: What is my child doing? How is the day going? Is he/she eating her snack/lunch? Is my child crying? These are just a few questions that could occupy your mind each day.
How can we help you navigate this aspect of school? We are excited to once again be using REMINI, our daily communication platform. REMINI is a secure application for the iPhone, Android, or web browser that helps both teachers and parents document a child’s school experience.
● It enables teachers to upload photos, messages and daily reflections in a friendly and convenient way. ● It provides busy parents an organized way of privately sharing memories with family and friends in a secure space. ● It is completely secure and private. ● It allows for you to receive timely messages from the Nursery School office
Please look for an email invitation to join your child’s REMINI page prior to the first day of school as well as additional information regarding this terrific platform. When you receive your REMINI invite, you will notice your child's class name. Please note that our classes have Hebrew names: Shoresh - 2 year olds, Gezah - 3 year olds, Anaf - 4 year olds and Gesher (Bridge - 5).
Moving along...you may now sign up for the Nursery School Communal Shabbat Dinner on Friday, September 6, from 5:30pm - 7pm. Further details may be found on the flyer below.

The Yizkor Memorial Prayers are printed together with the Book of Remembrance in one volume. Donors, as well as their departed loved ones, are listed in the booklet. The booklet will be used on Yom Kippur, Shemini Atzeret, the last day of Passover, and the second day of Shavuot when Yizkor is recited.
Again, the deadline for your submission is Friday, August 30th.
I hope this email finds you well and that you are enjoying a wonderful summer. While many of us are still in full summer mode, the Beth El Clergy, professional staff and lay leaders are already preparing for the High Holidays, the Welcome Back Bash, Selichot and many other programs to usher in the new year.
This past year has been challenging for our community, with the rise in antisemitism and the ongoing war in Israel weighing heavily on our hearts and minds. The High Holidays offer us a unique opportunity to gather, to support one another, and to draw strength from our shared community and faith. Your presence at our High Holiday services will not only enrich our communal experience, but also strengthen the bonds that hold us together.
Similar to what Beth El offers every year for the High Holidays, we will have an array of options—including services in the main sanctuary and outside in the tent, as well as services designed specifically for families, tots, pre-teens and teens. The services in the main sanctuary will be livestreamed throughout the holidays. To select the services that your family would like to attend, please complete this online form by Friday, August 30th at 5:00 pm. All details about services are listed on the registration form and you can also find the information on services at bethelnr.org/highholidays.
But here are a few important points:
